Top 10 female debuts of South

Of late we have been talking about the Bollywood beauties much. But's let's have some South Indian spice today. We list down the top ten debutants of Tollywood who are creating rage and charming millions of fans down South.



One of the hottest bods and glam doll of Bollywood, Sameera Reddy has her roots in South. She made her debut in Tamil with Goutham Menon's 'Vaaranam Aayiram'. Telugu films are always in her priority list. She is one babe who is making waves in Bollywood and Tollywood both.
Tollywood’s newest teen debutante Karthika

is the daugher of yesteryear glamazon Radha. Telugu film 'Josh' opposite Nagarjuna’s son Naga Chaitanya is her big ticket to Tollywood.



This choreographer-turned-actress stormed into the cine industry of South with the Sarathkumar starrer, '1977'. Though the film bombed at the B.O., Farzana oozed oomph on the screen and gave tough competition to glam queen Namitha.

One of the cutest actress in South India, Kaniha debuted in Malayalam with Sathyan Anthikkad's hit movie 'Bhagya Devatha'. She followed it up with the blockbuster, 'Pazhassi Raja'. Her performance in the film has been very highly rated by the industry. She has also been Miss Chennai runner-up.

Ananya played the female lead opposite 'Subrahmanyapuram' Sasikumar in her debut movie 'Nadodigal' which spread far and wide in South. The Malayalam actress gave a memorable debut performances of recent times. Her debut entry created a striking impression over film makers.



Cute and bubbly girl Shamili who is also known as Baby Shamili made her debut as a heroine with 'Oye' (Telugu), opposite Siddharth. Shamili has won the hearts of millions in Telugu and Tamil people in Mani Ratnam’s 'Anjali'.



Her debut entry in the tinsel world took everyone by surprise.This gorgeous Kannada actress debuted in Tamil with 'Adada Enna Azhagu', co-starring Jai Akash in the lead. Though the film did not did as well as was expected, her onscreen energy and charm had Kollywood sit up and take notice.

Curly haired girl from Bangalore Rupa Manjari bagged her debut venture 'Thiru Thiru Thuru Thuru', directed by Nandhini. In the film, she played an eccentric, and has done a great job with it. She wanted to be an actor right from her childhood. Let’s see if audiences accept this new kid on the block.



Young and hot Spoorthy made her debut with the hit film, 'Jolly Days', by MD Sridhar. A remake of Telugu hit 'Happy Days', the movie starred Yogish in the lead.

A child artist earlier, Roopika debuted in films with 'Cheluvina Chilipili' as a leading lady in Kannada. In this sentimental love story by S Narayan, she was paired opposite Pankaj. She is one of the classic Tamil actresses.
