Yusuf Pathan was selected for the Indian one-day team. After IPL, though he played all the games in the Kitply and Asia Cup and got to bat only four times. As he couldn't perform well in the Kitply Cup, he was not selected for the series against Sri Lanka.

Yusuf Pathan performed well in the domestic circuit and was able to impress the selectors. He was selected for England's 'ODI Series' which was held in November, where he scored an impressive 50 runs in just 29 balls.
