Corey Haim dies at age 38

Corey Haim, a 1980s teen heartthrob whose

The Hollywood teen star of the 1980s collapsed at his mother's apartment and was later pronounced dead. He was 38. The Los Angeles Police have suspected the possibility of a prescription drug overdose. (AP/Justin Lin)
Corey Haim was living with his mother to help her battle cancer prior to his shock death.

The 38-year-old actor started his international career with movie 'Lucas' alongside Charlie Sheen and Winona Ryder in 1986, but he came to limelight with the vampire movie 'The Lost Boys' in 1987. Haim was probably best known for his teaming up with Corey Feldman after this movie.
