| The 40th International Film Festival of India gets underway from 23rd November 2009. This 11 day extravaganza is the biggest annual film event in South Asia. Eight films will be screened in the Indian premieres category. First is Amol Palekar's english film 'And Once Again'. Besides Antara, it has Rajat Kapoor and Rituparna Sengupta. Story and screenplay is done by Sandhya Gokhale while Debojyoti Mishra has handled the music. The film is about dealing with man- woman relationship, about repression of violence, its lingering shadow and various shades, and how we manage to draw a line between our past and present. |
