If you thought reality shows made headlines just for TRP, think once more. Here are some TV serials that made news for the controversies... Controversy became the second name for this TV reality show 'Iss Jungle Se Mujhe Bachao'. Be it bikini stints by the celebs or the breath-taking stunts, all contributed to the TRP's for the show. But, the major reason for its popularity was the bold and baring bikini baths by the beauty Negar Khan, motor-mouthed Kashmera Shah and TV's fav 'bahu', Shweta Tiwari.

When Negar walked out of 'Iss Jungle Se Mujhe Bachao', she took away with her the glam quotient of the show! Then came another hottie, Kashmera Shah, adding more to the sizzle on the show with her under the shower scenes.

Ever since the Indian version of 'Big Brother' kicked off, it was always in news for its bold concept that bought stars from different fields under one roof just be locked together for months. 'Bigg Boss' had everything from catfights, backbiting to sleazy hook-ups. The controversy factor added to its name in all the three seasons. Be it protests from political parties to stop the telecast or the sizzling chemistry between the housemates, it had all the 'masala' that glued the viewers to the show.

Verbal spat between Kamaal R Khan and Rohit Verma was not worth missing. During the season 3 of the reality show 'Bigg Boss', the fight between KRK and Rohit took an ugly turn when the latter threw a water bottle at the designer. What was aired on TV was only about one-third of his bad behavior and due to the misconduct, Kamal was thrown out of the show and the house.

After all reality shows made her a household name Rakhi decided to add some more spice to her life with the reality show 'Rakhi Ka Swayamwar'. The show revolved around the item girl and her suitors vying for her hand. Controversies soon followed, during the second week of the show it was revealed that one of the prospective grooms, Arther Pervez from Kashmir was already married and had three children.

Another television show 'Emotional Atyachar' that examines the presence of fidelity in affine relationships also faced the controversial aspects. Some people felt that the scenes telecast in the serial outrage the modesty of youngsters and so the show was asked to stop airing their episodes. But, later the matter was solved and the channel went on to telecast the show without any interference.

The hunt for Rahul Mahajan's perfect bride ended when he married Bengali girl Dimpy Ganguly on reality show 'Rahul Dulhaniya Le Jaayega'. The show was in the news, especially after the couple tied the knot as Dimpy's past became a hindrance for the two. She was a model and a dancer, before the prospective bride participated in the race to be Rahul’s wife. Some bikini shoots of her earlier days started doing the rounds that made her and the show the talk of the town for all the wrong reasons.

'Sach Ka Samna' brought celebs and commoners with the truth in their lives that took the contestants through the assertive ride of their emotional journey. Taken from an internationally acclaimed series 'Moment of Truth', the reality show ran into trouble when I&B Ministry sent a show cause notice following Samajwadi Party MP Kamal Akhtar's objection to the personal questions asked.

How could we miss the hot and happening, 'Pati, Patni Aur Woh'? The reality show that was an emotional rollercoaster through many unique situations was an adaptation of the hit international format called 'Baby Borrowers'. The serial was mired into controversy when National Commission for Protection of Child Rights sent a notice to the makers asking them to stop its telecast claiming violation of a child's rights. If you thought that this is it, then wait, the producers of the show also had to face the tantrums thrown by the celeb couples participating as the stars threatened to quit the show in the middle of the shoot.
