Most Awaited H'wood Films of '10

The year 2010 has loads of surprises for the fans as the year brings in a series of the much awaited Hollywood flicks. The year is full of movies on superhero, fantasy, horror thriller, animation, romance, action/adventure. Let's have a look at them...

'The Twilight Saga: Eclipse' is an upcoming romantic-fantasy film scheduled for release on June 30, 2010. It is based on Stephenie Meyer's Eclipse and will be the third installment of The Twilight Saga film series, following 2008's Twilight and 2009's New Moon. (AFP)
'Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows' is an upcoming two-part fantasy film adapted from J K Rowling's seventh and final book in the Harry Potter series. And the first part is scheduled to be released in 2010. (AP)
'Iron Man 2' is an upcoming 2010 American superhero film based on the Marvel Comics character of the same name from Marvel Studios and Paramount Pictures. It is the sequel to 2008's 'Iron Man'.  (AFP)
'Shutter Island', an upcoming horror thriller is directed by Martin Scorsese and starring Leonardo DiCaprio. The film is based on the 2003 novel of the same name by Dennis Lehane. (AP)
'The Dark Knight' director Christopher Nolan filmed his new movie 'Inception' around the Pont de Bir-Hakeim, a bridge that crosses the Seine River in Paris, France. Opening in theaters on July 16, 2010, the Warner Bros. contemporary sci-fi actioner is set within the architecture of the mind. (AP)
'Alice in Wonderland' is an upcoming fantasy-adventure film directed by Tim Burton. It is an extension to the Lewis Carroll novels 'Alice's Adventures in Wonderland' and 'Through the Looking-Glass'. (AP)
'Shrek Forever After', formerly 'Shrek Goes Fourth' and also known as 'Shrek 4', 'Shrek 4Ever After' and 'Shrek: The Final Chapter', is an upcoming American animated film. It is planned to be released in cinemas May 21, 2010 in the US and July 9, 2010 in the UK. (AP)
'The Chronicles of Narnia: The Voyage of the Dawn Treader', based on the book of the same name, will be the third film in the series. Edmund and Lucy come back to Narnia with their cousin in a ship called The Dawn Treader. Peter and Susan will not return because they have learned all they need in Narnia. It was filmed in Queensland and the Gold Coast in Australia. (AP)
'Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time' is an upcoming 2010 action/adventure fantasy film written by Jordan Mechner, Boaz Yakin, Doug Miro, and Carlo Bernard, directed by Mike Newell, and produced by Jerry Bruckheimer. The film is based on the 2003 video game of the same name, developed and released by Ubisoft Montreal. (AFP)
