Cannes '10: Most outrageous looks

If you thought that Cannes is just about fabulous fashion statements, just do a rethink and check out celebs who graced the event in outrageous looks!

This was the mother of all outrageous looks at Cannes this year. Mallika Sherawat tried a gimmick which beats all others – live snakes draped around her! Couldn't find suitable company Ms Sherawat? (Getty Images/John Shearer)
If Mallika Sherawat carried live snakes, Naomi Campbell went ahead and wore a gaudy snake dress for the event! Somebody tell the supermodel that a shimmering golden dress in faux snake skin is so non-happening! (REUTERS/Eric Gaillard)
Supermodel Karolina Kukova's deep-necked netted black and golden dress was a sure-shot recipe for disaster as she arrived for the amfAR Cinema Against AIDS.  (AP/Matt Sayles)
Colour spreads cheer, but who told Dirty Martini that she could pull off such dazzling colours in an outfit, especially for an event as stylish as the Cannes! (AFP/Francois Guillot)
She wanted to be seen and to a certain extent succeeded in doing so! American model Velvet d'Amour crimped her hair and matched them with a velvety orange dress to grab shutterbugs' attention at 63rd Cannes Film Festival. (AFP/Anne-Christine Poujoulat)
What's it with net and stars this season? After supermodel Karolina Kukova, model Hofit Golan was seen in a short net dress with sequins and fur. Net, sequin, feathers... anything else? (AFP/Anne-Christine Poujoulat)
Eugenia Silva's black dress seemed fine until we cast our glances at the lower half of it. A leafy black train? A real fashion no-no! (AFP/Jean Baptiste Lacroix)
Rossy de Palma gave many reasons to leave us confused. The mix-n-match of the blazing blue shrug and a plunging neckline are too much for the red carpet at Cannes. (AFP)
Dirty Martini did it again! This time the dazzling colours were missing and with it the rest of the gown too! She preferred to keep it to the bare minimum at the 63rd Cannes Film Festival. (AFP)
Actress Julie Atlas Muz an eye-candy at the Cannes Film Festival this year. She opted for a transparent gown with some odd red patches. Not to miss her complementing transparent sandals! (AP/Matt Sayles)
