Azhar's son passes away

Ayazuddin, the son of former Indian cricket captain Mohammad Azharuddin, died on Friday, five days after being critically injured in a road accident.
Apollo Hospital in Hyderabad confirmed the news of his death. The 19-year-old Ayazuddin suffered the accident while riding his 1000 cc imported Suzuki motorcycle on the outskirts of Hyderabad. Seen in this pic is the Suzuki bike on which Ayazuddin met with an accident on the ORR at Narsingi. (BCCL)

In a medical bulletin issued on Thursday evening, Apollo Hospitals (Central Region) CEO Dr K Hari Prasad said, "Brain function tests conducted on Ayazuddin (in the past few days) indicate brain dysfunction.
